Job Summary
In support of clinical development efforts in interventional oncology for the treatment of primary liver cancer and other interventional radiology indications, BioSphere Medical is developing a field-based Clinical Science team, and we are looking for sharp, industry-seasoned Clinical Science Liaisons with interventional oncology experience for a number of openings across the US (Northeast, Southeast, Central, and West geographies).
These individuals will serve as scientific ambassadors and market developers for BioSphere to physicians and other healthcare professionals for developing relationships with those communities and educating them about the disease states, as well as about our novel products. Success factors
•Proven success in a Clinical Science Liaison role with a drug delivery, medical device, biotech, or specialty pharmaceutical company.
•Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
•Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative) skills, strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
•Must be adept at influence management and working under pressure.
•Must demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter. Must have the ability and desire to take on new challenges, to drive for compelling individual results, and still be part of a team. Hands-on approach to projects.
•Ability to excel in an entrepreneurial environment; self-directed and comfortable with broad and varied job responsibilities.

Application Requirements: |
Required
•Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences
•Minimum of 3-6 years of proven success as a CSL (4-8+ preferred) in a drug delivery, medical device, biotech, specialty pharmaceutical company.
•Specialty disease experience is strongly preferred.
•Strong, adaptable communicator with an educational and patient-focused approach.
•Adept at project management and attainment of goal deadlines.
•Deep understanding of legal and regulatory environment for CSL.
Preferred
•RN with CRN certification OR AART with CVIR certification OR Advanced college degree (Masters Degree, Pharm D., MD, PhD).
•Angio suite experience
•Highly developed interpersonal skills and teamwork.
•Strong knowledge of oncology.
•Self-motivated and thrives on challenge.
•Ability to work as a member of a team to accomplish goals.
•Energetic, flexible, enthusiastic and highly motivated.
•Strong time-management and organizational skills.
•Ability to maintain high level of ethical and compliancy standards.
Travel Requirements
Able to travel up to 80%; may vary based on geography. Travel will include periodic national and regional meetings and will include international conferences |

Job Responsibilities: |
•Execute a strategy to develop the interventional oncology clinical application based on a plan approved by the Operating Team of the Company, which would include presence in targeted key oncology accounts, success in targeted accounts based on clinical study objectives, registry enrollment, and competitive conversions, podium presence achieved by targeted physicians, market adoption, etc.
•Work cooperatively with associated functions; e.g., marketing, sales
•Develop and maintain strong working relationships with medical experts in both academic and community settings, Interventional Radiologists, Oncologists, etc.
•Disseminate scientific information to physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals on state-of-the-art research and medical concepts in interventional radiology, consultant programs and one-to-one peer exchange.
•Provide medical and scientific expertise to other departments.
•Represent BioSphere at specific continuing-education events/programs, medical meetings and conventions.
•Facilitate and establish research opportunities between BioSphere and clinical investigators.
•Provide sales force with training at national and regional levels.
•Utilize scientific resources to deliver impactful presentations in a variety of different settings.
•Understand and be able to operate within appropriate legal and regulatory guidelines.
